New Life Trust is an Australian-based charitable organisation that works to directly relieve poverty and the suffering of children. Our current Myanmar Projects provides relief for orphans and abandoned children.

The Australian support group formalised the New Life Trust on the 21st of March 2006 in Australia as a registered charity, to continue and expand its work in Myanmar and regions beyond.

We currently need to raise a minimum of US$150,000 per year for this work to continue. The money is raised by general donations, support for individual child sponsorship ($400AUD per year) and tax-deductible projects.

All those involved with New Life Trust do so voluntarily; because of this, 100% of the funds raised go directly to the cause.

Any administration costs to run the Australian side of the organisation, including travel to and from the projects, are borne by the volunteers.

New Life Foundation is almost totally financially supported by Australia through New Life Trust, but plans are underway for the Myanmar centre to have opportunities to become a little more financially self-sufficient even within their difficult economic environment by growing their own crops and fish farming. 

We are grateful that hundreds of orphans and abandoned children have been given a second chance at life. This is the motivation that drives us to be a voice for the voiceless.
